John Trischitti III

John Trischitti III currently serves as Executive Director of Keep Midland Beautiful, following a 15-year career in public library administration. From 2011 to 2019, he served as Director of the Midland County Public Libraries, where he spearheaded the establishment of the Centennial Library — recognized by Library Journal as a "Destination Library in America." 

A former Texas Librarian of the Year, Trischitti is also a past recipient of the Rosalind Redfern Library Benefactor Award. He was appointed by Governor Abbott to the Texas Diabetes Council and serves on the board of the Young Women's Leadership Academy of Midland. He has also served on the City of Midland Airport Board, Midland ISD Education Foundation board and the Basin PBS Board of Directors. 

Trischitti is a TED Talk presenter on the social impacts of illiteracy, with a talk viewed more than 100,000 times, and is a frequent speaker on organizational leadership and literacy initiatives. 

Trischitti holds a Bachelor's degree from Wayland Baptist University and a Master's degree from the University of North Texas.
