Roy Geer

Roy Geer is a Certified Public Accountant and the Controller for the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation, Inc., a private foundation serving the Permian Basin. His career spans public accounting and corporate finance, from tax and regulatory filings to overseeing day-to-day accounting operations for businesses large and small, including roles as Controller at Compressor Systems Inc. and Operations Accounting Manager at Legacy Reserves Operating. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in business and accounting from Texas Tech University. A lifelong Midland resident, Roy is active across the region's nonprofit community, currently serving as Treasurer of the Nonprofit Management Center, Treasurer of the Midland Education Foundation, and President of Team Midland. He and his wife, Hayley, are raising their two children, Finley and Mayer, in Midland.
