Michael Wilson, PhD

Michael Wilson, PhD serves as Executive Director of the Nonprofit Management Center, where he leads efforts to strengthen nonprofit organizations across Midland, Odessa, and the Permian Basin through leadership development, governance education, and organizational capacity building.  

A nonprofit executive, gerontologist, educator, and former chief operating officer, Michael brings more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, government, higher education, and community development. His career has focused on helping mission-driven organizations improve performance, expand impact, and better serve their communities through effective leadership, strategic planning, and sustainable growth.
